Lent
As the Season of Lent prepares us for Holy Week, leading to Easter. It is during this time we abstain from meat on Fridays, Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. Many of us perform acts of penance, giving up certain pleasures like sweets, TV and the like.
Every lent I make my commitment and promises at the end I fail. So for 2012 No Commitment but will devote time to soul-searching, repentance and to be reminded that through life God is with us. To find comfort in God promises no trial beyond our ability to succeed. He offers us no truth we cannot accept.
